HIGHER EDUCATION LOAN SCAMS!

There is a frightening state of events that is in motion in our great country. You cannot smell it, see it or touch it. But no matter how you perceive it, it is there.  Its’ name is FRAUD. Many of us go on in our day to day activities set on autopilot without contemplating, or conceiving, the negative things that can happen to us from outside influences.

However, this is a habit that can and will, most of the time cause you more harm than good. Let’s face it, you know as well as I do the effects of your actions creates noticeable results at any time of your life. Whether it is in the past, present or the future, it is the law of (cause) and (effect)

Without taking a little time to ponder the effects of negative possibilities that can happen to you, you will 99.99% of the time run into problems.

A noticeable everyday life example is how banks or finance company’s get you to except high interest rate credit cards or loans effortlessly by making the scary details of the contract less apparent in micro print. How they do this is not important, the important thing is:

YOU LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT

The same skillful tactic mentioned above is being used against us in this great country’s education system. The unnerving and sad fact of this matter is that, these unethical practices are being used against young un-suspecting unsure high school graduates that are just stepping into the threshold of their lives, not to mention a long list of other people with needs for higher education after completing certifications, such as a G.E.D.

New students and/or undergrads including their families place way too much emphasis on high powered radio, internet and TV media campaigns with the hope that these trade schools will provide the education that they need leaving themselves open for predatory advances.

These kinds of agencies wear masks of righteousness towards you and your family, but the truth is that it is not you they want to help succeed. These kinds of people have no moral standards for humanity other then the balance of their bank account.

Without taking a little time to research the necessary information needed to execute a collage education in the right direction, cost and  other wise, these fragile students get exactly what they asked for, quantity not quality. Unfortunately, with many of these education trade programs, the final results are a flat out lie, sometimes with life shattering results, leading in direction of great personal and financial losses. See the video to the right of this page for a more in depth detailed explanation:

I have heard many schools and people justify this taboo, by saying things like “AW, THEY COULD HAVE DONE BETER or IT’S NOT THE SCHOOL’S FAULT YOU DID NOT LEARN ANYTHING”.  Ask yourself this, "If the student was such a degenerate or loser as insinuated and it was not the fault of the school, then why did the school grant the grade point average to these types of students to graduate their student program anyway?" Perhaps they did not want to return their money? But you would never hear them say that.

The sad truth is the majority of these types of students are not losers; they are just overwhelmed and misdirected. Grated, there are students that go on to be successful even though they finished these loosely structured programs. However, most of them have some form of backing such as money savings, their family, or influential support to go forward in their careers.

It is the a documented statistical fact, the majority of students that go through these types of education trade programs never even come close to participating in their chosen field of education. The all out underlined problem is not the student’s skill; it is the lack of skill and improper placement these education trade programs provide.

What I mean by the statement above is that: “EACH STUDENT HAS SOME FORM OF SKILL. IT IS THE JOB OF THE EDUCATOR TO PLACE THESE STUDENTS IN THE RIGHT TRADE PROGRAM, SO THAT THE STUDENTS EXPAND ON THOSE SKILLS.”

Most of these trade schools let students participate in classes without testing the student on their current skill levels or have no form of testing criteria to gage the abilities of the student’s talent.

Case in point; if a student claims to be an artist and claims he or she can draw, paint and sketch, what field should the student train for?  Unfortunately, THE ANSWER IS UNKNOWN if the school has not properly tested and evaluated the skills of the student in their current needs, and most importantly under the advisement of a skilled accomplished art instructor with a masters degree.

A frightening reality for the future of our country is most trade schools open their doors to any financially or federally qualified student that wants any type of career they think they can perform under without screening the current skills of the student, thus carelessly placing them outside of their scope of career and educational needs. Loan Mill, Puppy Mill, Boiler Room or however you label it, these types of unethical business practices are going on daily in the U.S. with no concern for the student’s educational outcome.

For Profit Education and their Management Company’s including Regulation Agencies, are big business. A multi-billion dollar a year business in fact, some of which are widely traded on the U.S. stock exchange for extreme investment returns to their stock holders. The students’ community and their parents think they can trust and rely on these type institutions, but they should investigate them in depth before exposing their loved ones to this uncertainty.

Another point in fact, FASFA and other lending agencies such as SALLIE MAE, are a mega source of profit for these trade schools. The whole point of the explanation above is it really doesn’t matter where or how the student obtains their tuition. The bottom line is he or she is still a target.

There are a lot of trade schools that use the name “INSTITUTION OR COLLEGE” in their description.  However, if you do the proper research you will find that most of them do not have the credentials to claim the titles that they do. It should be a crime to mislead students in this way, but C.H.E.A. and the U.S. Department of Education allows these types of schools to operate but, not to disrupt the flow of U.S. education financial commerce with unbalanced and uncertain results.

I’m sure that you have heard some of these schools say, “THEY’RE ACCREDITED”.  However, by not researching the legal limitations or standards of ACCREDITATION you may find yourself in the same place as a student that has little or no skill, with a certificate that may not be worth the paper it is written on. This is a true fact for some universities and also employers

The worst result is you may end up in extreme debt, and no way to pay it back because you planned to pay it after you graduate and use the trade you learned to do it.
